Our story
Ohoué was born from a personal and family story with shea butter.
Since my childhood, shea butter has been part of my life. It is one of those gestures that are passed down, one of those habits we hold on to, one of those simple yet essential forms of care found in many West African families. In my family, shaped by Beninese roots, shea butter has always held a special place. Benin is a country where this precious ingredient is part of the culture of care, especially through the gestures passed down from generation to generation. Shea butter accompanied the care of everyday life: the skin, the hair, small discomforts, colder seasons, the moments when the body needed to be nourished, protected and comforted.
